Contemplating quilting

I haven't quilted in a gazillion years and the idea has been swirling around in my head lately. I got a piece of raw silk my daughter did some sort of printing on in one of her classes, and I'm thinking the patterns would be great for a quilt.

Not sure at all what I'd want to do. Each of the patterns measures 5.5" x 6.5".

  1. did I print that on raw silk? I dont even remember.

If you use it you need to heat set the pigment, otherwise it will wash out. I dont think I ever did because it was just a sample

  2. I'm pretty sure it's the raw silk, smells like it. I pressed it, is that good enough for heat setting. Tell me what to do.
